Ingredients
- 8 oz kielbasa, cut in 1/2-inch slices
- 3/4 cup diced green bell pepper
- 3/4 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 2 (15oz) cans Luck's® Pinto Beans with Pork (do not drain)
- 1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 to 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups water
- 3 cups quick cooking rice

Directions
In large nonstick skillet, cook kielbasa, bell pepper, onion and celery 5 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender and kielbasa is browned, stirring frequently. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, hot sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook rice in water as directed on package. Serve bean mixture over rice.
Tip: Use your favorite hot sauce for this recipe. Pass the bottle of hot sauce for those who like more heat. This recipe pairs well with cornbread.
